Meet Dr. Deborah Al-Najjar
Desire-based coaching
I graduated from University of Southern California in 2017 with a PhD in American Studies and Ethnicity. I have two-plus decades of university and college teaching experience. I am the co-editor of the book, We are Iraqis (coming out in paperback 2019 with Syracuse University Press). I have fiction publications in Michigan Quarterly Review, Indiana Review, among other publications. I love to work closely with people to uncover their desires and what I call 'grief blocks'. Anything that is blocking you is grief (stuck energy). We will examine the full picture of who you are in order for you to meet your desires.
Complimentary session to discover your desires
Whether you choose to coach with me or not, you will find this complimentary session very illuminating. You will get a taste for how I coach. You will benefit from the session regardless and have some solid take aways.
Are you in pain because you feel frustrated, paralyzed, or angry about your current situation in work or romance? Do you wish you could transform this part of your life but it feels impossible? There are no simple answers. I have zero formulaic answers or solutions. I work from the presumption that you are complex and that your needs are yours and not generic.
