people who know deborah
I am so grateful to have worked with Deb as a dissertation writing coach. When I first reached out to her I was desperate to make progress on my dissertation, but scared of confronting what would be required of me. I truly did not think it would be possible for me to ever finish my dissertation even though I wasn't ready to give up. From the moment we connected, Deb went to bat for me. She worked with me to set up a writing schedule that was rigorous but manageable, met with me on a weekly basis to keep me accountable, and provided me with encouragement and tips for managing my anxiety throughout the week. It was so helpful working with someone who has been through the process because she understands all of the nuances and the psychology behind working on a project of this scale. Beyond the writing Deb also helped me to recognize the narratives I have been telling about myself in regard to a host of other issues in my life -- and she provided me with tools to revise those narratives to align more with who I want to become.
-Enongo Lumumba-Kasongo Underground rapper and artist, Sammus and postdoc fellow at Brown University, Department of Music @sammusmusic on IG Debbie has been an influence in my life for almost thirty years. She is one of the most selfless people I know--integrity being her most notable virtue. We worked together on numerous initiatives promoting arts and culture regarding the Arab American community. A team player; her creative energy is boundless. Dr. Deborah Al-Najjar is a remarkably intuitive, insightful, and compassionate coach. She has the practical tools--and the patience--to help you get to your next level. I have been working with her to take my coaching business to the new heights, and I have been experiencing incredible expansion in just a matter of weeks. I highly recommend her. |
Deborah was a coaching client of mine for 6 months as she took a deep dive into her own personal growth. During the time we worked together, Deborah grew exponentially in the areas of personal responsibility, healing codependency, grief, relationships, victim consciousness and in her finances. Her commitment to herself was inspiring, as she was always open to a new outlook or way of thinking, even when it was challenging to face. She regularly examined her own thinking process and deeply expanded her havingness to receive more and live deeply in the feminine. During the time we worked together, Deborah took big risks to change the story she had always lived under in order to live the life she truly wanted. This included examining deep family cultural beliefs, and researching what truly worked for her as the empowered woman she is. Deb has a big open generous heart and a deep passion for helping people live the life they truly desire. |
Dr. Deborah Al-Najjar has supported me in developing and finding my voice as a young woman trying to navigate a world that does not always seem to encourage me to do so. She has been exceptional in supporting me through various trials and tribulations, teaching me coping, harm-reductionist tools and strategies, as well as how to go about doing the deeper healing work that will allow me to become the best possible version of myself. Her skills are versatile and this is reflective of her own background, as an academic and entrepreneur immersed in creative work in service of dynamic healing and self-development. Deborah has been especially exceptional in inspiring insight and perspective, asking the critical questions that provoke compassionate self-reflection. It is this and other evocations that have allowed me to, over time, come to terms with aspects of myself I would sometimes rather tuck away and hide. Deborah has been an integral part of my journey toward healing and self-love. I am infinitely grateful for her and her dedication to my and others’ growth. Thank you, Deborah! |
